Eating Disorder

 

The feed back from the first idea which was eating disorder was that the plate does not really signify an eating disorder but when I mention how their is usually a diary kept by the person with an eating disorder this idea sounded more acceptable for the circular narrative. Also the eating disorder can be easily controlled so the shoot will be quite simply.

 

I was asked to look at Laura Lewinsky who photographed The remains of a meal which are never as appealing in real life as they are when photographed by Laura Letinsky, whose light-drenched images make melon rinds, lipstick-stained wineglasses, and even fast-food wrappers oddly enticing.

 

 

  Her photos are all perfectly light and the items are placed specifically, which indicates that she controls the settings for her photos right the place on the table. I like how their is some thing different o the table in each image. it makes it quite interesting try to guess what may have happened to the table which draws you in to creating your own narrative when looking at the tables and the contents of the table

The feed back for this idea was based around what will be coming out of the bags some said maybe I could focused it on a sort of feminist idea since it was a bag and I mention that some men don't like going into woman's bags because they done know what they will find, so with the feminist idea they could pull out and iron or a mop basic house hold things that some men think a woman has at all times.

 

 

Erwin Wurm

 



 

 

I was asked to look at Erwin Wurm who takes normal, everyday objects/clothing and transforms them through performances called 'one-minute sculptures' which he photographs as humorous compositions. I think I was asked to look at him as to look at how I could arrange the objects after they have been removed from the back.

 Alice in Wonderland book

 

I was asked why I wanted to do Alice in wonderland the reason behind it, which was because everyone knows the story and its a popular fantasy story I was also ask who would be the audiences which I had not really thought about .  This idea would take up a lot of time since I wanted to make the illustration come alive by coping the illustration. Also which characters would I focus on since their is large number of character and scenes so it would not be so easy to control as the eating disorder idea is.
